George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History
Located within the former headquarters of Acadia National Park on the campus of the College of the Atlantic, the George B. Dorr Museum of Natural History presents a range of exhibits on the natural world of Maine. Students at the college design and produce all of the exhibits.

Mount Desert Oceanarium
Home to the Maine Lobster Museum and the Lobster Hatchery, the Mount Desert Oceanarium is open seasonaly from May to late-October, Monday through Saturday from 9am until 5pm. A Marsh tour is also offered.
